Are you feeling long in the tooth?

Gum recession is a condition when your gums are affected by a harmful biological (bacteria) or environmental forces (bad bite, aggressive tooth-brushing), causing your gums to break down. You can be more prone to decay and have sensitivity when your gums recede. Before your gums recede your jawbone around that tooth melts away first. If you notice your gums beginning to recede from your teeth, we can help you discover what may be causing this problem and what can be done to treat it.
